An Introduction
Intersection for the Arts, established in 1965, is San Francisco's oldest alternative non-profit art space. Intersection has long been presenting new and experimental work in the fields of literature, theater, music and the visual arts. In addition to producing new work, they play a huge role in supporting the Bay Area cultural community through fiscal sponsorship of artists, providing mentorship programs, and by offering community classes via The Intersection Institute. This blog is meant to showcase not only Institute students' finished work, but the processes involved in producing their work.
